Four student-athletes with ties to the CSSHL have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.
Current CSSHL student-athletes Logan Henry, Cruz Jim and Cole Landreville and former CSSHL student-athlete Ben Oliverio have all signed with their respective WHL teams.
Henry joined the CSSHL in 2023/24, posting 30 points in 27 U15 Prep games with BWC Academy. He returned to BWC Academy for the 2024/25 U15 Prep season, finishing fourth on his team with 51 points in 31 games. The Prince George, BC forward would earn BC Division Second Team All-Star honours, leading to the Regina Pats selecting him in the first round, 23rd overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
A defenseman from Grande Prairie, AB, Jim joined the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) U15 Prep team in 2023/24 tallying 17 points in 27 games. He would add four points in five playoff games as NAX won the 2024 CSSHL U15 Prep Western Championships. This season Jim played 35 games, setting a U15 Prep record for a defenseman with 53 assists. He would add 13 goals to lead all defensemen with 66 points, earning him U15 Prep Top Defenseman and Prairie Division First Team All-Star honours. The Brandon Wheat Kings selected Jim with the 12th pick at the 2025 WHL Draft.
Like Henry and Jim, Landreville joined the CSSHL for the 2023/24 U15 Prep season. The St. Claude, MB forward played 27 games with Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (PMHA), recording 32 points in 27 games. This season he would lead his team while finishing seventh in U15 Prep scoring with 65 points in 35 games. Landreville would be named a CSSHL U15 Prep Prairie Division First Team All-Star while being selected in the second round, 25th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft by the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Oliverio joined the CSSHL as an underage player for the 2022/23 U15 season, recording 23 points in 27 games. The following U15 Prep campaign with Edge School he produced 30 points in 27 games. The Tri-City Americans selected Oliverio 9th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
