Kain Martinuik and Ryan Sadovia have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.
A forward from Peachland, BC, Martinuik spent the 2023/24 CSSHL season with the St. George’s School U15 Prep team tallying 37 points in 27 games. Martinuik has signed with the Saskatoon Blades after they selected him in the first round, 15th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
Sadovia, who has signed with the Tri-City Americans, joined RHA Kelowna for the 2022/23 CSSHL U15 season, tallying 19 points in 20 games. The following U15 Prep season he recorded 32 points in 27 games leading to the Edmonton Oil Kings selecting him in the eighth round, 165th overall at the 2024 WHL Draft.
The Kelowna, BC forward has spent the last two seasons with the RHA Kelowna U18 Prep team, recording 49 points in 63 games, including 33 points this season. He would add 12 points in 11 playoff games as RHA Kelowna captured back-to-back CSSHL U18 Prep Western Championships.
Sadovia has played three WHL games already with Tri-City.
